The fact is that we, life on this planet, are among the most complex patterns and processes in the universe, but the most common denominators, by which the most numbers of people can agree and associate, are the simplest and thus the most polarized and extreme.

How to bring it back to this fluctuating middle ground, short of burning everything down and starting over, is the question.
