It isn't so much Israel. They are just leading the way into the vortex.

The real problem is the degree to which the United States is a cultural and financial bubble and how that comes apart.

The politicians, the bureaucracy, the media, the think tanks/institutional academia are all surfing that wave and resorting to collective delusion to avoid acknowledging it is collapsing.

It seems Ukraine is where reality is currently making itself most evident, in terms they can no longer ignore. Especially since far more of their bets are on Israel and Ukraine is fast becoming the unwanted step child.

There is no strategy behind any of this, just the death rattles of the West.

The military knows it can't win a war in the Persian Gulf and will cut off access to the oil if it tried, but that bubble of delusion insists it must try.

The Hollywoodization of the West cannot understand it is not the provence of the scriptwriters to create reality. Or the photoshoppers.

The mother of all reality checks is in the mail.
