It does seem a lot of people are waking up to the corruption, both financial and ideological.

The real game changer though, I suspect, are those power structures becoming so corrupt themselves, they are destroyed from the inside. That the people are waking up to it is mostly because it can't be ignored.

I'm thinking of another essay, going to call it;

Flat Earthers on a Round Planet

The fantasy and the reality

Basically as these linear, goal oriented creatures in a cyclical, circular, reciprocal, feedback generated reality, we go chasing after things, or away from things, fear and greed and then wonder why we end up chasing our own tail.

Like wealth and power leveraging more wealth and power in a feedback loop, until the whole society creating that wealth collapses. The elite are such amoral assholes and surround themselves with amoral assholes, then wonder why their grand schemes come to nought, since the strength of humanity is working together.

Reality is more a game of rock, paper scissors, than winner take all.

My Medium notifications are starting to show up much later than they used to. Wondering if I'm getting a little more ghosted.

The saw is starting to hit harder wood. ;-)
