Unfortunately attention spans are only going to get ever shorter and more kaleidoscopic, as everything swirls down the drain. It will only be after the fire rages through and the sprouts start popping up out of the ashes, that long form will take root again.

So much of our world is just dry tinder.

Trial and error hasn't been outlawed by the feelgooders. They are just doing their best to ignore it.
