England does seem to be swirling down the rabbit hole, along with the rest of the West. Been without internet, except the phone, about the last ten days and not feeling the motivation to dig back in. Though it's not my people being crushed underfoot.

Definitely not getting better, but the gyre is seriously widening. Syria went under like a baby duck snapped by a big turtle.
