The Zionists do seem determined to do what the Zealots failed to do and reject the encroachment of any larger civilization onto their tribalism. That 2000 years of exile only solidified the delusion.

The violence is only feeding the darker beasts and the blowback.

Western civilization does seem caught in a trap, between organic tribalism and metastatic bureaucracy. With no path to that next stage of organisms in the global ecosystem.

It does seem the East is further along in making that step, if mostly in reaction to the depredations of the West. Though having a more dualist view provides a necessary foundation to grow beyond these tribal rabbit holes.
