As a Christian, Episcopalian, my sense is the essence of Christianity is The Golden Rule; Matthew 7/12; "Do unto others, as you would have them do unto you."

Essentially a karmic incantation. What goes round, comes round.

Though looking at it from my vantage point of 63 years on this planet, it is evident the real God of humanity is desire. That essence bubbling up and always seeking more.

Wisdom is only the lessons learned from being swatted down enough to know the objects of desire are illusions.
