As for influences in general, they are the signals we extract from the noise and that is what synchronizes with our prior understandings. The problem being these original assumptions are built out of less information, so there is a tendency to patch the old, than consider it falsified.
The universal is the elemental, so the more complicated it becomes, the more subjective it becomes. Then we might incorporate patterns that might conflict with prior understandings and have to patch them together, though this might make the edifice unstable.
