As that link points out, our actual observations suggest it is a bit more unclear than theory.

It used to be that when observations didn't match prediction, the theory was potentially falsified, but in cosmology, enormous patches can be assumed before theory is questioned.

I'm waiting to see what the Webb shows, because I think we will be seeing ever more distant and older galaxies, than can fit in current theory.
