Being American, it seems most of us really are totally clueless, but the situation with Gaza is opening up a lot of eyes, far, far beyond what I thought possible.

The level of pushback is greater than the protests against the invasion of Iraq and on a par with the 60's protests.

Last year, there were a fair number of Ukrainian flags in my area, but I've yet to see an Israeli flag and there is a sizable Jewish population around here.

They say the coverage has been biased toward Israel, but even the mainstream press are covering the carnage happening in Gaza fairly explicitly.

Combining this with all the other over the top messes, it does seem something big is breaking open.
