Ben,
The absolute is essence, while the traditional god is ideal. We rise from the essence, but we fell from the ideal.
A god as absolute would be that equilibrium at the center. The zero between positive and negative. The flatline between the ups and downs.
Though it stands in contrast with the infinite. Everything.
So when we have the absolute, it is nothing, because everything cancels out. Yet with the infinite, all the details fade out, like the breath of the Pacific Ocean relative to the distance to Alpha Centari.
So we have these galaxies, somewhere in the middle, where the energy radiates toward infinity, while the forms coalesce toward equilibrium. The eye of the storm at the center.
So it's more yin and yang, than God Almighty.
