Ben,

I was just responding to your sense of aggravation. It is a complex situation and we are all our own interactions between the internal and external, nature and nurture.

Personally I like to think of myself as somewhat extroverted, but those around me would probably disagree. Suffice to say, this whole social distancing thing has affected my life very little. Having spent my life working and living on several farms in the same area, I have the option of being able to walk away, when the crowd is going directions I don’t chose to go and I realize most people don’t have that option.

Consequently I’ve spent my life bonding to my physical surroundings, not any particular group of people. Though I am emotionally close to those I do live around, even if they think I’m the crazy one. Like a plant, I sink my roots into the soil I’m in.

So if I may offer up those I tend to feel aggravated by, it is those who insist on dominating conversations, as opposed to carefully examining all possible points of view, information, perspectives, etc. Given this does apply to the public at large, it might also reference some of your frustrations as well.

That said, without the ups and downs, it’s a flatline. Having some sense of history and basic physics, as I’ve been pointing out to those around me, all this bs really is setting the whole system up for a monumental fall. Now some of whom are realizing that I might have been quietly making a point that the hustlers of the world would still like to ignore and will do their best to sweep under the rug and get back to making money out of everything and everybody.

I am not going to beat my head against the wall, arguing with them, but just wait and see how it all pans out. We are still in the very early stages of this global, social and economic meltdown and much of the old order is still intent on hanging on and will only just shout that much louder against anyone trying to look outside their hustle. Though it is also quite evident there are far more people who know the system is broken and want to explore possible alternatives. Many of which turn out to be other hustles. Since I’ve spent my life simply looking on and gathering insights and information, while doing my best to avoid getting frustrated, I’ll continue to do so. More light, than heat.

We live in interesting times.

Cheers,

John
