Bottom up, rather than top down.
Government, as executive and regulatory function, amounts to the communal nervous system, while money and banking operate as blood and the circulation system.
Since we, as individuals, function as cells in this multicellular super organism, we tend to press against the restrictions inherent to the regulation and decision making of government, while always desiring the resources inherent to delivery by the circulation system.
Unfortunately when we try reverting to colonies of single celled organisms and override the restrictions, it amounts to a form of civil Ebola virus and all the evolved structure we do depend on dissolves.
The advantage of multicellular organisms is being able to sense and navigate the environment, not just cycles of expansion and collapse. Feedback between organism and ecosystem.
Growing pains and learning curves.
