Consciousness and thought go opposite directions of time.

One to the future, the other to the past.

We assume time to the be the point of the present, moving past to future, but that is because we are mobile organisms, navigating our environment.

The reality is that change turns future to past. Tomorrow becomes yesterday, because the earth turns.

There is no dimension of time, because the past is consumed by the present, to inform and drive it. Causality and conservation of energy. Cause becomes effect.

Energy is conserved because it is the present. It creates time, as well as temperature, pressure, color and sound. Time is frequency, events are amplitude.

So energy, as present and process, goes past to future, while the patterns generated rise and fall, future to past. Energy drives the wave, while the fluctuations rise and fall. As with consciousness and the thoughts giving it form.

So consciousness functions as an energy, always pushing and probing, even and especially the forms giving it definition.

Though it's the gut and heart processing the energy, feeding the flame, while the nervous system sorts the forms, signals from the noise.

Constantly trying to figure what fits and what doesn't.

Synchronization versus harmonization.

Centripetal and centrifugal.

Nodes and networks.

Organisms and ecosystems.

Particles and fields.
