Did you ever get the sense that theoretical physicists have their noses pushed a little too close to the chalk board, to really sit back and actually see the bigger picture?

Consider that the premise of relativistic spacetime, as espoused in Special Relativity is based on the fact that as a frame moves ever faster, both the actions and measurements in it dillate equally, such that at the speed of light, time stops and any measure of distance shrinks to zero, because any effort to measure either would require some additional motion, that would exceed the speed of light.

But that begs the question; What is this speed of light relative to, if not an over-all equilibrium?

Consider that the frame with the fastest clock and longest ruler would be closest to this equilbrium of the vacuum, the unmoving void of absolute zero.

They like to explain space as three dimensional, but that is really the xyz coordinate system, which is a mapping device. Are longitude, latitude and altitude fundamental to the biosphere of this planet, or a mapping device? Descriptive, not explanatory.

Epicycles were brilliant math, as a description of the cosmos, as we saw it and still do. As each of us is the center of our view of the entire universe.

It is just the crysalline spheres were lousy physics, as explanation, since we are only our own center.

So the two qualities of space are really infinity and equilibrium. Like the number line, zero to infinity.

Time is not really a dimension. We are these mobile organisms, so our experience is a sequence of perceptions, in order to navigate, creating this sense of time as the point of the present, moving past to future, which physics codifies as measures of duration.

The reality is that change turns future to past. Tomorrow becomes yesterday, because the earth turns. Duration is the present, as the events rise and fall.

There is no literal dimension of time, because the past is consumed by the present, to inform and drive it. Causality and conservation of energy. Cause becomes effect.

Time is asymmetric, because it is a measure of action and action is inertial. The earth only turns one direction. Entropy is a second order effect and not what is actually measured.

Different clocks can run at different rates, because they are separate actions. Think metabolism.

That civilization is about getting everyone following the same narrative, obeying the same rules, using the same measurements, it might seem like there should be some universal, Newtonian flow of time, but it's rabbit time, turtle time, tree time, earth time, etc.

The turtle is still plodding along, long after the rabbit has died.

Energy is conserved, because it is the present. It creates time. As well as temperature, pressure, color and sound. Time is frequency, events are amplitude.

Ideal gas laws correlate volume with temperature and pressure, but they are only foundational to our emotions, bodily functions and environment, not the sequence of thought.

As present and process, the energy goes past to future, while the patterns generated go future to past.

With a wave, the energy drives it, while the fluctuations rise and fall. So energy and information effectively go opposite directions of time.

As consciousness goes past to future, while the perceptions, emotions and thoughts giving it form go future to past.

Though it is the digestive, respiratory and circulatory systems processing the energy, feeding the flame, as the central nervous system sorts the information. Signals from the noise. Thus we think in terms of order and chaos, rather than energy and form.

Energy expands and drives, while form coalesces and defines. Galaxies are energy radiating out, toward infinity, as form coalesces in, toward equilibrium.

Cosmic convection cycles.

We evolved in a thermodynamic medium and society has its social energies driving it, while the civil and cultural forms give it definition. Youth and age, liberal and conservative.

Since everything is composed of waves and waves either synchronize, which is centripetal, or harmonize, which is centrifugal, we are organisms and ecosystems. Nodes and networks.

So we fluctuate between black holes and black body radiation.

Between everything cancelling out and everything fading out.

Both entropic.

As for the theorists, accountants use math as well, but they are regulated, so it is frowned on to just write in a figure and call it dark money, whenever there is a gap between prediction and observation.
