Do you want normal? I can offer some suggestions.
We are all the center point of the rest of the universe, both inside and outside, so normal is some degree of balance and fluctuation between the two.
My only neurological issue is epilepsy, so I am always very careful how far out over the edge I get, before pulling back. Even cracking the motorcycle out, the little voice inside tells me when to dial it back and I listen.
The thing is, space isn't three dimensional. That's just a mapping device, like longitude, latitude and altitude. If you remove all physical properties from space, it has the non-physical qualities of infinity and equilibrium.
Infinity because there is nothing to bound it and equilibrium is implicit in Special Relativity, as the frame with the longest ruler and fastest clock is closest to the equilibrium of the vacuum. As opposed to a frame moving at the speed of light, where both fall to zero.
This equilibrium is the unmoving void of absolute zero, so space is the absolute and the infinite.
What fills space is this property called energy and the forms it manifests.
With a wave, the energy drives it, while the fluctuations rise and fall. This effect is what we call time. The energy goes to the future, while the forms fade into the past.
We are these mobile life forms, so we experience reality as a sequence of perceptions, in order to navigate, so we experience time as the point of the present, moving past to future, but it is change, turning future to past. Tomorrow becomes yesterday, because the earth turns. There is no dimension of time, because the past is consumed by the present, to inform and drive it. Causality and conservation of energy. Cause becomes effect.
Energy is conserved, because it is only present. It creates time, as well as temperature, pressure, color, sound. Frequencies and amplitudes. Time is frequency, events are amplitude.
As consciousness also goes past to future, while perceptions, emotions and thoughts rise and fall, future to past, it means consciousness is a form of energy, always driving on, seeking out cracks in the reality. Yet if it breaks the reality, it has nothing to fall back on.
Galaxies are energy radiating out, as form coalesces in. The result are these thermodynamic feedback loops, not some linear passage of time. Yesterday doesn't cause today, the sun shining on a spinning planet creates this cycle of days and nights.
Though it is our digestive, respiratory and circulatory systems processing the energy driving us on, while the central nervous system sorts through the forms precipiating out.
So we exist as this dichotomy of desire and judgement, anarchy and tyranny.
You don't want it to blow you apart, or it will, nor do you want it spiraling you down into the black hole at the center. The balance in the middle is where we exist.
As these mobile creatures, motion is what keeps us focused, otherwise we do come apart at the seams. So it's mostly a matter of one step at a time and slowly getting into the rhythm. That thin line between order and chaos.
Hopefully this helps with some healing around the scars and doesn't create too many more. I find it's only so far I can stretch this out, before things start swirling a bit too much and then I dig back into my version of reality.
