Does larger just mean circumference? If a storm's eye grows larger, it doesn't mean there is more material in it, just more energy driving it.

I'm just throwing out some ideas. Obviously I don't know, but it does seem cosmology and physics in general have painted themselves into a number of conceptual corners and find it easier to double down, than step back and are now arguing for post-empiricism, so I'm taking a wait and see approach. In the meantime, I try relating it to the world we inhabit and all the processes feeding through it.
