E.O. Wilson described the insect brain as a thermostat, yet it has also been proven that ants can count footsteps as a navigation tool.

So they have a basic right, left brain dichotomy. Temperature as emotions and sequence as logic.

Once as a kid, I was laying out on the porch, watching this ant, when it stopped, like it sensed something. Then I noticed this tiny cone of awareness, waving around with its antennae.

Since I like to keep my mind as clear as possible, because I live a fairly active life and would get hurt more often if I didn't, I've long been aware of other's auras.

All that neurological hardware between the sense and motor functions just slow reaction times.

Looking at the world today, we don't put it to good use anyway. Still just beating our chests and throwing stones.

The implications of the earth being round, not flat haven't really sunk in.
