Entropy for energy is to disperse, radiate away.

Entropy for structure is to synchronize, to coalesce in. Look at galaxies. The energy radiates out, toward infinity, while the structure coalesces in, toward equilibrium. Though anything actually falling all the way into the black hole in the center, is shot out as quasars. Which are like giant lasers and lasers are synchronized light waves.

So it's actually a feedback loop. It's just that as tactile, optically focused organisms, evolved to climb around trees, we are linear and object oriented, so while we might think we are going somewhere, up or down, the reality is cyclical, circular and reciprocal.

Without the ups and downs, it's a flatline.

The energy goes past to future, because the patterns generated coalesce and dissolve, future to past. Energy drives the wave, the fluctuations rise and fall. No tiny strings necessary.

Consciousness also goes past to future, while the perceptions, emotions and thoughts giving it form and structure go future to past. Though it's the digestive system processing the energy and feeding the flame, while the nervous system sorts the information and the circulation system is feedback in the middle.

The problem is those signals most attractive are those that synchronize with our prior maps and models, so we end up spiraling down the innumerable rabbit holes, thinking there is some ultimate code, god, creed at the core, but it's just the eye of another storm, as we find ourselves washed up on some strange shore.
