Excellent.
Though considering how many basic feedback loops, such as compound interest, for which the Ancients devised debt jubilees as circuit breakers, running through society, but for which there is little appreciation and understanding of the thermodynamics involved, it seems one of the systems needing serious upgrading, is education.
It's currently defined by fields and fiefdoms, more interested in the careers of participants, than truly serving the function of enlightenment and advancing the spheres of knowledge.
I think the field where this has become most pronounced, but able to hide between a curtain of complexity and reputation, is theoretical physics, both micro and micro cosmic.
It is my firm belief though, that should the James Webb Space Telescope actually get up and working, it will stick a large pin in one of the pillars of this field, the Big Bang Theory. In studying the cosmic background radiation, it will find it to be the light of ever further sources, shifted off the visible spectrum, not evidence of some primordial event.
For one thing, it means space is infinite and thermodynamics is primary and stable, as energy radiated from one area will always have adjoining areas radiating it back in. Between black holes and black body radiation.
It will also break down the quantum assumption that reality is fundamentally discrete and digital, rather than continuous and analog.
One way light does redshift over distance, is as packets, since the higher frequencies dissipate faster. Which means we are sampling a wave front, not observing individual photons and quantization is a function of absorption and measurement, rather than foundational to the light itself.
Here is an essay I wrote, going into related issues;

The point is, how can this be leveraged into a better understanding of the actual feedback dynamics driving our reality, rather than the linear cultural impulse dominating all discussion and thought processes? I haven't a clue, as it seems the power will rule in its favor.
