Farida,
Keep in mind that both thought and emotion are expressions of consciousness.
As I keep pointing out, regarding the issue of time, is that consciousness seems to be an energy, in that it goes past to future, because the patterns generated come and go, future to past. Energy drives the wave, the fluctuations rise and fall.
Emotion is like a distributed energy, like a wave out on the ocean, rising, traveling, receding, or crashing on a shore.
Thought is a more concentrated, focused form of conscious expression, like a vortex, or that wave crashing on the shore.
Consider the concept of the sides of the brain, with the right side being emotional and the left being rational. It is like the emotion side is the thermometer and barometer, while the rational side is the clock and ruler. Amplitude/degree versus frequency/rate.
Think of all the ways logic and rationality are expressed publicly, as ways to grow and advance, schools of thought, politics, economics. order, structure, etc and they are ways to contain and direct energies. Philosophy is currently dismissed, because it doesn't seem to have any direct goal or purpose. More just casting about, trying different approaches at best, or simply regurgitating the same old questions.
Like much of current education and schools have been more about the influence and power of those controlling them and indoctrinating the young into current systems of power.
All of which buffets people's emotions like a ship in a hurricane.
Consider the sexes; Men's contribution to the reproductive cycle is short and sweet, though often requiring warfare or wealth to attain necessary status, while women are about that long wave of gestation, crashing up on the shores of birth.
I could cycle back through all the ways we feel and interact with our world, but you try out your own.
We evolved in this thermodynamic feedback loop, between the energy radiating out, as the resulting structure coalesces in and we are very much part of it.
