Frequencies and rates.

Long and short.

It isn't an underlying dimension, but a measure of activity.

Like temperature.

Degrees and amplitudes.

Space, on the other hand, isn't so much dimensions, but between equilibrium and infinity.

The frame with the longest ruler and fastest clock is closest to the equilibrium of the vacuum.

Light radiates toward infinity.

Structure coalesces toward equilibrium.

Therefore galaxies.

The energy drives the wave, the fluctuations rise and fall. No tiny strings necessary.

Energy toward the future, as structure recedes into the past.

As consciousness moves to the future, while thoughts recede into the past.
