Intergalactic space essentially curves outward, as measured by redshift.

Basically matter contracts, as light expands.

They are in inverse proportion. Omega=1.

If anyone bothered to think through the math, they would understand what is being described is a cosmic convection cycle.

Energy radiates toward infinity, so any energy lost from one area is replaced by energy radiating in from surrounding areas.
