Here is an even more simple model;

Nodes and networks. Organisms and ecosystems.

The essence of the node is synchronization. That of being on the same wavelength and functioning as one.

While the essence of the network is harmonization. All the nodes building up and breaking down across infinity, equalizing out.

The problem we have with models we try to frame reality with, is they break down over infinities. If we include all the information of the territory into the map, the signal is lost back into the noise. The math is abstracted from the reality, not foundational to it.

The signals we pick out of the noise are what resonates and synchronizes with our prior maps, models, beliefs, doctrines, theories, etc. So we build them up, investing and defending them. They function as mental nodes.

The better strategy is simply to keep various such tools in the mental tool box and know which is appropriate. Generals lead armies, specialist is one rank above private.
