How do you define God?

What you describe, taken at face value, is some deeper spirit interested in your wellbeing.

Is that some universal entity, or are you the current manifestion of an evolved emergent sentience? Sort of like the Ancients and some cultures sensed their ancestory and group soul, as some larger being, much as you are the singular expression of all the cells making up and which have made up your living self.

While a universal, absolute being would have to transcend the effectively infinite elements, all pushing and pulling in what amounts to an equilibrium. That black hole at the center, where all cancels out. As such, a spiritual absolute would be the essence of sentience and awareness, from which life rises, not an ideal of wisdom and judgement, from which it fell.
