How is that that the speed and spectrum of the same light measure essentially different dimensions of space?

We still use lightspeed to measure this expansion, which makes it the denominator. If it were being used as the numerator, it would be a "tired light" theory.

Given the number of patches, inflation, dark matter, dark energy, required to make Big Bang cosmology work, one suspects we are missing something.
