I can understand you have a side in this fight and I don't, so it would seem anything to question your view would come across as confrontational, but it is just my sense Israel has fallen into a trap and all the trashing about is only making it worse. With everything being live streamed, it really is turning a lot of the world against Israel and the Western power structure that is its strategic depth also has some monumental problems.

Keep in mind that we in the West have effectively pushed Russia, China, Iran and much of the rest of the world into the same corner, in a way they would not have otherwise teamed up. Actions begat reactions. Then that our obsession with abstract wealth, as opposed to strong and healthy societies, is leaving our culture and its institutions hollowed out. When was the last time you heard a politician referred to as a statesman?

So I'm not really picking sides in this, so much as waiting until the dust settles and whatever and whoever is left, has to start building again.
