I do think there are a few points of conception foundational to our perception and culture that could be cleared up.

As these mobile organisms, this sentient interface our body has with its situation function as a sequence of perceptions, in order to navigate, so our experience of time is as the present moving past to future, yet the evident reality is that activity and the resulting change turns future to past. Tomorrow becomes yesterday, because the earth turns.

There is no dimension of time, because the past is consumed by the present, to inform and drive it. Causality and conservation of energy. Cause becomes effect.

Energy is "conserved," because it manifests this presence, creating time, temperature, pressure, color and sound. Frequencies and amplitudes, rates and degrees.

So the energy goes past to future, because the patterns generated go future to past. Energy drives the wave, the fluctuations rise and fall. No tiny strings necessary.

Consciousness also goes past to future, while the perceptions, emotions and thoughts giving it form and structure go future to past. Though it is the digestive system processing the energy, feeding the flame, while the nervous system sorts the information/patterns precipitating out.

Galaxies are energy radiating out, as structure coalesces in...

This whole monotheism thing;

Ideals are not absolutes. Truth, beauty, platonic forms are ideals. The core creeds, codes, heroes, narratives at the center of every society are ideals.

The universal, on the other hand, is the elemental, so a spiritual absolute would be the essence of sentience, from which we rise, not an ideal of wisdom and judgement, from which we fell.

The light shining through the film, going past to future, than the narratives playing out on it, going future to past...

I could go on, but find this is way too far outside most people's Overton window.

I've been blocked from further posting or commenting on Substack, since posting this;

Also my responses dropped off seriously for the Western Mind essay, even though my followers increased, so I suspect some shadowing on Medium, as well.

Here is a long one, that sat in my draft file all last summer, as some unnamed journalist sounded like he might post something from me, but that didn't pan out;

Hopefully it's something you find interesting.

I'd read about much of what you've covered here, late 70's early 80's, but then all the issues closer to home pushed it to some back burner. Interesting to see it again. Spinning blue dot.
