I don't quite understand how Special Relativity explains expanding space.

Wouldn't the speed of light have to increase, as space expands, in order to remain constant?

As it is, two metrics of space are being derived from the same light. One based on the speed and one based on the spectrum.

Since the speed of light is still being treated as the denominator, as it would be a "tired light" theory, if it was the numerator, it makes no sense whatsoever.

It seems as though light is being treated as some wavy line, that becomes less wavy, by being stretched, but that ignores how waves are generated, as a function of the energy radiating.

It seems like epicycles, patches to fill the gaps, rather than going back and reconsidering the underlaying assumptions. It used to be that when observation didn't match prediction, the premise was potentially falsified. Now it just means there are all these dark properties that have no existence, beyond filling holes in the theory.

Accountants use a lot of math, but they can't just write in a figure and call it dark money.
