I guess the feedback is most interesting. You would think more people would be able to see it objectively and historically, but when the herd is running, the antelope can't just stop and scratch their ears.
I think the elephant is the room is the banks need all the public debt to function. The endless, inept wars are just a way to make it go away, so more can be borrowed. No matter how dishonest and incompetent our erstwhile public servants are, they do do the one thing that matters and that's keeping the bonds flowing.
The vaunted military industrial complex is just the trophy wife of the banks.
The Russians had their reality check, with the fall of the Soviet Union and now we are headed for ours.
Debt doesn't matter.
Until it does.
When our kids are our age, foreign policy will be between Texas and California, etc, not the US and the rest.
