I have a soft spot for basic physics. As I like to say, growing up, physics was not getting too hurt, too often.

That said, think about it, that "polarization" is an essentially physical dynamic. As are various other mass movements and dynamics. The more people there are involved, the more elemental are the biology and physics driving these events.

So right now, it seems our entire culture is spiraling into another abyss. One that is both more monumental than any in the history of humanity and one seemingly more farcical. We are more into massacring reputations, than lives, so far. At least in our own neck of the woods.

Eventually this mess will go supernova, but how?

I suspect even the most powerful will not be able to ride this out. They might be riding the tiger, not in its mouth, but this one isn't finished.
