I have to say I skimmed it, because I'm lousy at math, even that level. It is a funny story though.

That said, I realized early on in life math is one of those ropes they wrap around most people's brains. Try the following test;

Is time; 1) The point of the present, moving past to future, codified as measures of duration, or 2) Is it change turning future to past, as in tomorrow becomes yesterday, because the earth turns? Making it more like temperature than space. Frequency and amplitude.

Would a spiritual absolute be, 1) An ideal of wisdom and judgement from which we fell, or 2) The essence of sentience, from which we rise? Why hasn't it occurred to the last 2000 years of philosophers that an ideal is not an absolute and assuming such will create an extremely conflicted society, between all the competing ideals.

Last; 1) Is money a commodity to mine from the economy, or 2) The social contract enabling it? Hint; a medium is not a store. Blood is a medium, fat is a store.

If you answered 2 to any of these questions, you've disputed the deepest beliefs of the vast majority of your fellow humans, even those most adept at math.
