I live in an area, north of Baltimore, with a large Jewish population.

In 22, 23, there were a number of Ukrainian flags displayed in the area. Not a lot, but enough to notice.

The only Israeli flags I've seen in the last year, were two large ones, waving from the back of a Ram pickup truck, a couple days after Israel invaded Lebanon. Pretty sure it was a Christian Zionist, not a Jew.

While it seems there is some support among older Jews, the younger ones seem to be turned off.

I suspect this will prove to be the largest schism in the history of Judaism, between those for whom it is culture and those for whom it is character.

While culture might be our gift from the past, it is character that carries it into the future.

Go Bernie.
