I think there are some elemental relationships that haven't quite come into focus, behind all the detail.

Galaxies are energy radiating out, as structure coalesces in.

As biological organisms, we have the digestive, respiratory and circulatory systems processing the energy driving us on, as the central nervous system sorts though the patterns precipitating out.

Societies invariably evolve an executive and regulatory function, aka, government, that is analogous to a central nervous system. They also evolve some medium of exchange that serves as a circulation system, with the tokens of exchange analogous to blood.

One of the biggest problems of how our culture has developed, is that as linear, goal seeking creatures in a cyclical, circular, feedback generated reality, we see this medium as signal to extract and store, while markets need it to circulate. Even Econ 101 says money is both medium of exchange and store of value, Yet if we return to the analogy of the body, blood is the medium, while fat is the store. Can you see where there might be a problem, treating the medium as the message?

As for time and space as one, ask yourself, is time the present moving past to future, or is it change, turning future to past? As in tomorrow becomes yesterday, because the earth turns.

We are mobile organisms, so this sentient interface between body and context functions as a sequence of perceptions, in order to navigate, but to think that's foundational and not a consequence of perception is a bit like assuming Apollo's chariot is carrying the sun east to west, rather than the earth turning west to east.

There is no dimension of time, because the past is consumed by the present, to inform and drive it. Causality and conservation of energy. Cause becomes effect.

Energy is conserved, because it manifests the present, creating time, temperature, pressure, color and sound. Time is frequency, events are amplitude.

Ideal gas laws correlate volume with temperature and pressure, but we don't assume they are extensions of space, even though they are as foundational to our emotions and bodily functions, as sequence is to thought.

As present, the energy goes past to future, while the patterns generated go future to past. Energy drives the wave, while the fluctuations rise and fall.

Consciousness also goes past to future, while the perceptions, emotions and thoughts giving it form and structure go future to past. Though it is those digestive, respiratory and circulatory systems processing the energy and feeding the flame, while the central nervous system sorts the information.

The anarchies of desire, versus the tyrannies of judgement. Expand, consolidate. Thermodynamic feedback loops. Like galaxies.

The problem isn't so much that reality is too complex to understand, but simplicity is too sublime.

We can better identify with the chicken, than the egg.

Yes, the powers that be do divide and conquer, but they are simply riding the wave. The best way to pop that bubble is to shine some light on it.

It's more a game of rock, paper, scissors, than winner take all.
