I think you need to more fully clarify the paradigm, how it evolved and what its weak spots are. Then alternatives will seem more possible and necessary.

Taking a systems approach isn’t going to be as clear, because it starts from within the system and doesn’t get sufficiently objective, before the audience starts to wander.
