If I may analyse Trump, Trumpism, etc;

Donald Trump is the agent of chaos being visited on the agents of chaos.

The simple fact he is so totally off the wall is why the system could never get its claws into him.

At some point it seems, everyone bends to the system, sells out, etc. Trump, as the total hustler, understands that and simply being able to step out of the way of that vortex is all that mattered.

The bull is power. The matador is art.

That said, it does make him a god. The grain of sand at the center of the pearl. The locus around which the world turns. He doesn't have some manifesto. He is the one.

Given the kaleidoscopic nature of the beast, his personality is the guiding light.

Now people are starting to freak and say, no, that can't be, but to the little gremlins pulling the strings of reality, good and bad are not right and wrong, but the very basic binary of beneficial and detrimental. The 1/0 of sentience. It's a constant swirl of waves, building up and breaking down, where too much good is bad and bad is educational.

So, as Leonard Cohen put it, the cracks are how the light gets in.

People are mostly just stage props of whatever herd they run with.

So if you seriously want to look beyond Trump, it's not a matter of fighting back, but moving on.

Understanding how reality functions and figuring out your own locus, center of gravity, guiding light.
