I’m afraid I took the opposite lesson from Escher’s drawings; Not to totally trust what you see. Given the world today, that is a valuable lesson to learn.

When we just accept the incongruities, our minds are putty to those who lack scruples. We become followers, not thinkers.

In this world it is evident we are being shepherded into various narratives and those who avoid being swept up are the most ignored. I still think it is better to be alone and ignored, than being herded toward the inevitable cliff.
