I'm not an expert. As I like to say, my appreciation for physics comes from trying not to get too hurt, too often. As for math, it tends not to go much deeper than bookkeeping.

I think the problem is we tend to get up close and focus on the details, not step back and look at the bigger picture.

Consider time; As these mobile organisms, this sentient interface our body has with its situation functions as a sequence of perceptions, in order to navigate. So our experience of time is as the point of the present, moving past to future.

The evident reality is that activity and the resulting change is turning future to past. Tomorrow becomes yesterday, because the earth turns.

There is no dimension of time, because the past is consumed by the present, to inform and drive it. Causality and conservation of energy. Cause becomes effect.

Energy is "conserved," because it manifests this presence, creating time, temperature, pressure, color and sound. Frequencies and amplitudes, rates and degrees.

So the energy goes past to future, because the patterns it generates coalesce and dissolve, future to past. Energy drives the wave, the fluctuations rise and fall.

Consciousness also goes past to future, while the perceptions, emotions and thoughts giving it form and structure go future to past. Though it's the digestive system processing the energy, the nervous system sorting the information and the circulation system as feedback between them. Consequently the intellectual tendency to focus on the patterns, than the processes generating them.

Galaxies are energy radiating out, as structure coalesces in.

What if gravity is simply the tendency of waves to synchronize, as a path of least resistance? One big wave is more efficient than many small waves.

In which case, gravity is not so much a property of mass, as mass is an effect of this dynamic we refer to as gravity. Which, given it would extend across the entire spectrum of energy, would explain why there is far more gravitational effect, than mass to associate with it.

Remember much of what falls into black holes is actually shot out the poles as quasars and quasars are like giant lasers. Which are synchronized light waves.

The path of the energy is to radiate out, toward infinity and across all other fields, while the path of form is to coalesce in, toward equilibrium. Zero to infinity.

So it's synchronization, versus harmonization. Nodes and networks, organisms and ecosystems, particles and fields.
