I'm not sure where you see me saying it's one. One is a unit. It's a node in a network. The network stretches to infinity, the node swirls around the general point of equilibrium.

Anything that is connected of part of a network, but different nodes have different networks. A might be connected to B and B to C, but that doesn't mean A and C are networked. It's infinity.
