In our digitized, quantified, monetized, atomized culture, developing this rather ethereal concept of trust has to go much deeper than our cultural
"thought leaders" can conceive. We have this linear, goal oriented belief in monolithic idealism, while the larger nature is more cyclical, reciprocal and feedback generated. It's nodes AND networks, forest and the trees, not one or the other. More the yin and yang, than God Almighty. A spiritual absolute would be this essence of sentience, from which we rise, not an ideal of wisdom and judgement, from which we fell. There is no foreordained knowledge. Knowledge is hard won and easily lost. We seek ideals, as well as transcending them. Culture is a tool not a God.
We need a serious reset.
