Is design is the only limiting factor?

The wave crests when the energy is fully expressed.

If we understand the longer term, we install a few circuit breakers to keep the energy from melting the wiring and burning up the furniture.

The turtle is still plodding along, long after the rabbit has died.

We like to model from the top down, but reality is bottom up.

As these mobile organisms, this sentient interface our body has with its situation functions as a sequence of perceptions, in order to navigate, so our experience of time is as the present going past to future. Which is, cumulatively, the basis of culture and civilization, as narrative and history.

The evident reality, for those of us living first hand, is that activity and the resulting change turns future to past. Tomorrow becomes yesterday, because the earth turns.

There is no dimension of time, because the past is consumed by the present, to inform and drive it. Causality and conservation of energy. Cause becomes effect.

Energy is conserved, because it manifests this presence, creating time, temperature, pressure, color and sound, as frequencies and amplitudes, rates and degrees.

So the energy/presence goes past to future, because the patterns generated come and go, future to past. Potential, actual, residual. Energy drives the wave, the fluctuations rise and fall. No tiny strings necessary.

As consciousness also goes past to future, while the perceptions, emotions and thoughts giving it form and structure go future to past, it would seem our sentience manifests as energy, though it is the digestive system processing the energy and feeding the flame, while the nervous system simply sorts the patterns and information. More referee of sentience, than its source.

Therefore this intellectual tendency to see the models as primary and the dynamics driving them as secondary. Nodes over networks. Nouns effectuating verbs. Rather than feedback between organisms and ecosystems.

Yet the models, from gods to math, break down over infinities and disappear at zero. Everything inbetween is relational.

Galaxies are the energy radiating out, as the structure coalesces in.

If we go with structure alone, it eventually falls into that vortex in the middle, while energy alone just burns everything down. So each pulls the other. Our little blue dot is in the middle.

Anarchies of desire versus tyrannies of judgement. Energies of youth, lessons of age.

Waves rising and falling.

The right brain as thermostat and barometer. Amplitudes and degrees.

The left brain as clock and ruler. Frequencies and rates.
