Is entropy the energy radiating out, toward infinity, or the forms it generates, settling back to equilibrium?

Energy drives the wave, going toward the future, while the ripples settle back to equilibrium, toward the past.

It seems we exist in this middle ground, between everything fading out and everything canceling out.

Galaxies are energy radiating out, as structure coalesces in.

Is it back holes, or black body radiation?
