Isn't it more a feedback between language as a tool we use to model the situations, both generally and specifically, that then affect our perceptions of them, furthering the construct of language?
It seems the larger reality is the mind is a model making device, but that for cultural and political reasons, there is an assumption of some universal model, whether God, math, ideology, etc. From omniscient omniscience to theories of everything. When the reality is that such maps and models are inherently subjective and specific. That if we include too much information, the signal is lost back in the noise, whiteout, but if we don't include any and all information, than it isn't universal. The models break down over infinities and disappear at zero. Everything in-between is relational.
For instance, epicycles were brilliant math, as a model of our view of the cosmos and completely legitimate, as the earth is the counterpoint of our view of the cosmos, but when this is then taken as universal and we try wrapping the physical, causal explanations up in these models and come up with crystalline spheres, we have stepped outside the usefulness of that particular model.
One point I keep trying to make, is that as mobile organisms, this sentient interface our body has with its situation functions as a sequence of perceptions, in order to navigate, so our sense of time is as the present going past to future. Which is then compounded by the fact those with the most stature are the academics, whose basis of knowledge is studying the cumulative knowledge of humanity and thus the result of this narrative flow.
When the evident reality is that activity and the resulting change turns future to past. Tomorrow becomes yesterday, because the earth turns.
There is no dimension of time, because the past is consumed by the present, to inform and drive it. Causality and conservation of energy. Cause becomes effect.
Energy is "conserved," because it manifests this presence, creating time, temperature, pressure, color and sound. Frequencies and amplitudes, rates and degrees.
The energy goes past to future, because the patterns generated go future to past. Energy drives the wave, the fluctuations rise and fall.
As consciousness goes past to future, while the perceptions, emotions and thoughts giving it form and structure go future to past.
It's a bit like trying to explain the sun and stars going west to west, before realizing the earth turns west to east.
Given all the beliefs, dogmas, ideologies, etc, tearing the world apart, it might be worth considering how some of our models might have outgrown their usefulness.
