Isn't there a much deeper political and logical reality which isn't being addressed, that any culture will be somewhat arbitrary, and circumstantial, as a consequence of evolutionary factors. Such that they will all be open to rational debate, except those which don't allow criticism.

Consequently, unless some viable alternative is possible, the only effect will be a conflict between those standing by the current structure and those most determined to tear it down. So nothing new is being created, just the old is being destroyed.

It should also be noted that while society is politics all the way down, it's economics all the way up and the larger question is, how much are economic actors using political divisions to divide and conquer?

It is safe to say that only those elements which serve the purposes of the economic forces will get showered with the media attention that makes them a public, political force to be reckoned with.

For example, do the climate activists ever, ever mention the military industrial complex? Yet what would be the most logical way to seriously reduce climate emissions, than a world wide peace conference, to reduce the military footprint to strickly defensive purposes, rather than this global autoimmune parasite?

Think that through and you might get a better understanding of the forces at work.
