Israel is part of the West, so there is much more Western attention to it. Though it does seem the narrative control around Ukraine was far more complete, than that around Gaza.

Having followed the news closely since the 70's, the Russians had their reality check, with the fall of the USSR and now the West, having hollowed out its economy, in service to its own oligarchs, is in the process of having its own reality check.

Given Israel does seem more intent on burning bridges, than building them and consequently dependent on the good graces of Western Jews, it does seem to be setting itself up for a fall.

I would not be surprised to see the United States break into several regions, like the Soviet Union, in the next few decades, if not years and where that leaves Israel is open to question.

A hundred years from now, Taiwan will be back to being part of China and whatever that area "between the river and the sea" calls itself, if it isn't a radioactive crater, will have normal relations with the neighboring areas. The current situation just isn't sustainable, from a basic physics sense. The wave has crested.

Israel was being torn apart prior to Oct 7th, by the normal centripetal and centrifugal forces inherent in any society, that are magnified in Israel, given its deeply religious, versus very cosmopolitan sides.

As I point out in the linked essay, the logical fallacy of monotheism is that ideals are not absolutes.
