It does get a bit depressing sometimes.
Think about it, how hard is it to figure out that public debt is the largest investment category out there and they keep piling it on, at every possible opportunity, but no one seems to make a deal about what a ponzi scheme it is. Nami Klein wrote Disaster Capitalism, what 15 years ago. Doesn't anyone think this all won't come home and whatever remains of our public commons won't be sucked up by the vulture capitalists?
It's not like any of this is complicated, but there doesn't seem to be any way to get a conversation started.
Now look at Ukraine. These sociopaths have been getting us into wars for decades and still, if anyone asks questions, they are the traitors. If what our military is doing is so patriotic, why is the suicide rate among serving and retired military so high?
Eventually the wheels will come off the train, but given how clueless most people seem to be, it isn't necessarily going to be a wake up call.
