It does seem the problem with math is that if the premises are wrong, all the "shut up and calculate" is just so much GIGO.

Epicycles were brilliant math, as a model of our geocentric view of the cosmos, but the crystalline spheres were lousy physics, as causal explanation.

The current cosmology argues intergalactic space expands, but ignores the basic presumption of the theory on which it is based. That if this space were to expand, the speed of the light crossing it should increase, in order to remain CONSTANT!!!

Instead two metrics are being derived from the speed and spectrum of the same light. Given it is an expanding space and not tired light theory, the speed is still the explicit denominator.

The problem is mental. The signals we extract from the noise are what resonates and synchronizes with what we already believe, so the effect is a feedback loop and the further it develops, the less any circuit breakers tend to work. The theories can only be patched, not falsified.
