It doesn't seem like anyone is considering the fractures in the West. England is just the canary in the coal mine. Even if the Republicans only win the House, they are going to run Russiagate in reverse, from Hunter to Hillary. Europe will come to realize there are not enough energy sources in the world to afford to cut out Russia and it will prove extreme wishing thinking to have cut off the one easy source.

We are going through a billion years of stored sunlight in a few hundred years and we are totally blind to the consequences of when it starts to run low. Ukraine will likely remain a wasteland for a long time to come.
