I’ve been trying to make this point about time, for a long time; That we need to understand it as an effect of change and that it is just our narrative cultural basis that blinds us to this, but get little response and have been banned from a few sites for even bringing it up, as it conflicts with the whole mathematical geometry of spacetime assumption. Yet it really would open up our eyes to many aspects of reality that are confused.

For instance, Alan Watts made the comment that; “The wake doesn’t steer the boat, the boat creates the wake.” as a refutation of determinism. There is only this dynamic physical state of the present and it is where all determination occurs.

Or about the fact that physics can’t even explain why time is asymmetric, short of entropy, but what is actually being measured is action and action is inertial. The earth turns one direction, not either. The relative order of the system is not what is being measured and it’s irrelevant.

Different clocks can run at different rates simply because they are separate actions. Think frequencies, or metabolism. To space travel necessary.

It just goes to the natural tribal clubbiness of people, than any basic logic.
