It is hard to keep context in mind, while describing details.

Maybe you’re overthinking the time thing. It’s simple. Our culture treats time as this progression from past to future, with the present as just the event of the moment. Yet if you look at it in the conceptual mirror and treat the present as the point of reference, as what’s physically real, it’s the events going future to past. Tomorrow becomes yesterday.

Then there is the question of physical cause, the implications, examples and other culture’s views on time, which all together might be what’s causing the confusion.
